What does the partnership process entail and how long is the process?

The process begins with a conversation with someone on Vertex’s Partnership team. If there is mutual interest, we will request data and prepare for a deeper diligence session with the goal of preparing an offer shortly thereafter. Assuming offer is exciting, confirmatory due diligence is the final step before signing of the Purchase Agreement. This phase takes 45-90 days.

What is Vertex looking for in new partners?

We value legacy, reputation, and a culture that is excited to continue growing market share and service area. The majority of Vertex’s partners have a strong background in residential reroofing. If you have built a brand aligned with Vertex’s values, have great teammates, and have a strong reputation for residential reroofing, there is a good chance Vertex will be interested in partnering with you.

What kind of sales training do you provide for our sales team?

Vertex is committed to providing best-in-class sales training for your sales teams. We provide multi-week, hands-on training for your team to ensure they are equipped to represent your brand in your community.

What kinds of roles does Vertex Service Partners hire for?

We hire for corporate roles within our Center of Excellence teams (e.g., Finance, People, Legal, Marketing, Operations, etc.) that support the entire Vertex platform. In addition, we also staff leadership and operational roles within our network of residential home services companies (partner brands), including General Managers, Sales Leaders, Field Operations Managers, and more.

Will I know which partner company I’m applying to if it is not a corporate Vertex role?

For leadership and field roles, we may withhold the partner brand name early in the process to maintain confidentiality. Once your candidacy progresses, we’ll share more details about the specific partner company and market.
